• When should I check in and check out at Destination Big Bear?

  Unless otherwise arranged, check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 10:00 am at Destination Big Bear. Please text them your arrival or departure date. Please call the morning of your arrival to find out if free early check-in (1:00 pm) is available. It inspects all properties on the day of your arrival to ensure the home is ready for you to move in. Early check-in may greatly affect their quality assurance program, their staff will do their best to accommodate your request, but there are no guarantees. Late check-in may affect the quality of your stay and their services.

• How is the home quality of Destination Big Bear?

  Destination Big Bear suffers from more traffic and more abuse than a typical residence. While they do their best to provide a clean and comfortable space for your vacation, they also have some limitations and cannot guarantee absolute perfection. Vacation homes are privately owned and homeowners are encouraged to approve or complete any necessary repairs as soon as possible. But things like; carpet cleaning, yard work, and exterior repairs are often scheduled in the off-season to allow more time for work to be done before the next tenant moves in. If there is anything they should be aware of, or if you have a security concern, please contact them immediately.

• What is the dog policy of Destination Big Bear?

  Each Destination Big Bear unit can have no more than four pets. Before a guest arrives, they must treat their pets for fleas and ticks. Guests who stay in a place that allows pets must pick up the animal and put it in a plastic bag with a tight knot. Pets are not allowed on the furniture and all pet hair must be cleaned before departure. All pet-friendly rentals are subject to a non-refundable fee of $30 per pet. They cannot guarantee that homes with fenced yards are 100% pet-proof.

• What supplies does Destination Big Bear offer?

  Each Destination Big Bear cabin has minimal supplies and it provides bath towels, sheets, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, cleaning sponges and minimal cleaning supplies. They do not provide shampoo, conditioner or body soap. Hairdryers are not available in all cabins. Every home has a different inventory of kitchen appliances and supplies.
